Part 4 = Le projet: Votre magasin de mode
-
Allez à votre wiki sur PBWorks.com.
- Faites une nouvelle page titrée "Mon magasin de vêtements". (Click on the pages and files tab, then create a new page. Type: Mon magasin de vêtements. Click "save" to add the page. Now start building the page.)
-
First, give your store a "french name" that reflects the concept of your store. By concept, I mean what types of clothes, what Francophone countries, very expensive, second-hand, helping women in poverty, etc. There are many choices, limited only by your imagination.
-
Put the name of your store on your page and make it look nice - use Graffiti Creator, BannerMaker.com, or another app in Chrome to make a picture file (jpg or png file type). You will upload your picture onto your wiki, then link it to the page.
-
Make a slideshow of your store's merchandise. This can be like a fashion show, a TV advertisement, or another kind of show as you like. Include images and prepare to narrate your slideshow in words. Create 10 slides. Text on the slides is optional.
-
You will record a voice presentation to narrate your slideshow. You can register for BrainShark or another web-based tool which combines your slideshow with voice, and can be embedded on your wiki page.
-
If you use BrainShark , upload your file, then record your narration in French like a commercial, a fashion show, or come up with another idea.
-
Embed your slideshow on your wikipage.
-
Now add 20 items of clothing and/or accessories you may have in your store (use tables to space the pictures on the page, or make a flip book on FlipSnack.com, or Simplebooklet.com, or use another tech tool of your own choice) - a picture may contain more than one item. You may use ThingLink to label the names of the clothing/accessories. Under the pictures, write descriptions or the items, their colours, sizes, prices... You may take your own pictures, and upload them on your wiki or ThingLink account, or borrow pictures from the Internet. You must write 5 short paragraphs describing your clothing, their sizes, prices and colours.
-
Make an ad for your store using Glogster. Use this tool to create a multimedia ad.
-
Embed your Glog advertisement on your wiki.
-
Add anything else to your page to show your understanding of clothing both as a business and as a personal expression, in order to explain your new store.
